In Christ, Inner Stability

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

21Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
2 Corinthians 1:21-22

Biblical Context

God is the source who stabilizes us in Christ, anoints us, and seals us. He grants the Spirit as the earnest in our hearts.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold the stabilizing work as an inner act of consciousness. The one who establishes us is the I AM within you; to affirm you are established in Christ is to align with the divine current. The anointing is the inner consecration—an impression on your inner screen that you belong, are protected, and empowered. Sealing is your decision to guard that state and refuse the old narratives of lack. The Spirit's earnest in the heart is the felt assurance, a living guarantee that your present state is real to your inner eye. Covenant loyalty means remaining faithful to this inner law of consciousness; faith and trust become habits of attention. Salvation and redemption unfold as you persist in the assumption that your now is the Christ-Union, with God and you as one. The outer world follows the motion of the inner decision, and you walk in the evidence of things not seen.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and affirm: I am stabilized in Christ by God; I am sealed and the Spirit is in my heart. Hold that feeling real for a minute.
