Solomon's Inner Throne

2 Chronicles 9:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Chronicles 9 in context

Scripture Focus

8Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
2 Chronicles 9:8

Biblical Context

God delights to place Solomon on the throne to rule for the LORD. His kingship is to exercise judgment and justice for Israel.

Neville's Inner Vision

Solomon’s throne here is not a seat of empire but a state of consciousness. The Lord thy God delights in you, placing you on the throne of your own awareness so you may govern from within. To be king for the LORD thy God is to rule with clear discernment, choosing thoughts and actions that reflect right judgment and justice. Israel stands for the whole life within you—the loves, loyalties, and purposes you cherish—loved by God and established forever. The verse asserts that your God loved Israel to establish them, and so your inner kingdom is fixed in love, not won by effort. This authority comes from alignment with the I AM presence, not from external power; your power to judge rightly and to act justly flows from a state of consciousness that God delights in. When you assume this throne, you witness and govern your inner world as one who is beloved and established in truth. Embrace this inner kingship now: you are the throne’s occupant, and your decisions reflect divine order, mercy, and justice.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and in your mind seat yourself on a throne within your chest or forehead. Affirm I am on the throne of the LORD my God to do judgment and justice, and feel this inner position guiding your next choices.
