Queen of Sheba Within
2 Chronicles 9:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Queen of Sheba comes to test Solomon with questions. Solomon reveals all, and the splendor of his house leaves her in awe.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the queen and her caravan are not far lands but the questions and anxieties that arise in your own mind when you suspect there is more than you have seen. Solomon is your inner faculty of wisdom, the I AM that knows the way; when you imagine the fame of Solomon, you are aware of the already established order within. The 'house that he built' and the 'meat of his table' and the ascent to the house of the LORD are symbols of an orderly inner state—provision, service, and ascent by which you rise in consciousness. The queen's testing questions remind you that doubt will come; yet there is nothing hid from the inner Solomon when you calmly answer from awareness. When she sees the wisdom and the splendor, there is 'no more spirit in her'—a surrender into the presence within. Your practice is to assume that the inner king is fully present, to welcome outer questions as affirmations, and to let your inner temple shine through every outward circumstance until your life itself reflects the harmony you imagined.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes for a minute, assume 'I am the wise ruler of my inner house,' and picture the Queen of Sheba asking you questions; answer from stillness and feel the temple light up.
