Inner House Completion
2 Chronicles 8:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon prepared and completed the work on the temple from foundation to finish. In this, the house of the LORD was perfected.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the life of Solomon's temple, I read a parable of your own consciousness. The foundation the builders laid is your starting assumption. When every rung of the plan is set and the last stone placed, the house stands perfected because your awareness has completed its work. The presence of God is not far away but right where you stand, in the I AM that witnesses the scene. You do not seek holiness outside; you close your eyes and recognize that the inner temple is already complete, and therefore you worship in truth by acknowledging the finished architecture of your mind. The inner Jerusalem is your covenant loyalty to the feeling that you are now what you seek; you separate old self-doubts as if you were sanctifying a room, setting apart each thought to the divine. Imagination is the builder; feeling is the mortar; faith is the blueprint. When you assume the end and leave the tail-chasing behind, the outer world concedes to your inner structure. The finished temple becomes your habitual state, and you dwell there as the truth of your being.
Practice This Now
Assume the end now: envision the foundation laid and the temple finished; feel the texture of the perfected space beneath your feet and dwell there for a moment.
