Inner Access to the Ark

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The ends of the ark's staves were visible from inside the ark toward the oracle, but not visible from outside, signaling that access to the divine is an inner, not outward, phenomenon.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behind every external rite there is an inner temple. The ark, with its staves resting in the rings, speaks of the covenant you carry inside. The ends being seen from the inner side, yet not seen from without, tells you that the Presence is not a spectacle to be observed by others; it is a reality you consciously draw into your awareness. The I AM, your true Self, does not go outside to find God; God is the I AM within, always seen by the inner vision. The staves represent the supports of consciousness by which you carry your sacred idea into action. When you imagine yourself within the inner sanctuary and feel the covenant loyalty—the obedience of your word and desire aligned with divine law—the ends of the staves appear to your inner sight, proof that you are in the temple, not merely standing at the door. Therefore, do not seek miracles in outer events; revise your inner state until the divine presence is seen in your mind's eye, and your world will reflect that inner order.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the ark resting within your heart. See the ends of the staves appear to your inner sight, a sign that the divine Presence is accessible now; affirm 'I AM that I AM' and dwell there until your outer world reflects the inner covenant.
