Temple Symmetry Within You
2 Chronicles 4:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon arranges the temple's vessels with symmetry: five lavers on the right and five on the left for cleansing. He also places ten gold candlesticks, ten tables, and a hundred gold basins, with the sea reserved for the priests' washing.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Neville's psychology, the temple is your consciousness and every vessel is a state of being you inhabit. The ten lavers, split five on each side, are ten recurring acts of purification you perform with imagination—washing away fear, habit, and inherited limitation by choosing a different feeling and belief. The right and left arrangement signals the balance of attention you maintain; as you mentally dwell in a state, that side is your active choice and the opposite is the receptive attitude. When you 'wash in them,' you do not cleanse material vessels, you cleanse your inner dispositions. The sea set apart for the priests stands for the living water of I AM, flowing within to sustain life and dissolve impurity. The ten candlesticks of gold are the radiances of your thoughts, each flame a clear, defined perception where you stand in truth. The ten tables and hundred basins are daily patterns of nourishment and receptivity, held intact by your consistent assumption. Worship, here, is inward purity rather than outward ceremony.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are the temple, with five cleansing states on each side. Then imagine the gold candlesticks lit, the tables ready, and the waters of I AM washing through you, making you feel already pure.
