Inner Passover Preparation
2 Chronicles 35:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Chronicles 35 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage calls the people to prepare themselves and sanctify, aligning their outer duties with inner faith, so the Passover can be observed under divine guidance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the text as an instruction for consciousness. The outer commands to prepare yourselves and to stand in the holy place are spoken to your inner self. The houses of your fathers and the divisions of the Levites become your established patterns and inner faculties that you arrange so your divine image may stand free. When you kill the Passover and sanctify yourselves, you are not performing a ritual; you release the old story of lack and step into the awareness that the Word of the LORD is already within you, writing its law on your heart. You do not seek permission from without; you revise the inner drama to reflect truth. In practice, assume you already stand in the holy place, fully obedient to your inner Moses—the I AM that guides you—so that your brethren, the other aspects of yourself, may follow the command with ease. This is alignment; this is the real Passover.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and assume you are already standing in the holy place within. Feel the I AM guiding you, and revise any thought of lack into the certainty that the divine Word governs your life.
