Inner Command and God With Me

2 Chronicles 35:21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Chronicles 35 in context

Scripture Focus

21But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
2 Chronicles 35:21

Biblical Context

An ambassador declares a divine mandate to oppose the king's house and warns him not to meddle with God, claiming God is with the messenger.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this moment of Scripture, the ambassador is a state of consciousness declaring external authority. The king represents your present awareness, and the house is a pattern you defend as real. The war denotes inner movement stirred by fear or habit. When the messenger says God commanded him to act, that is the belief that some outer power dictates your next move. Neville teaches that you are the I AM here and now, the only governor of your experience. Realize there is no other god or power above your inner God; the line 'God with me' confirms your own awakening. By assuming you are the I AM and that you choose harmony rather than compulsion, the inner war dissolves. You revise the scene by granting your inner God praise and authority, and you feel the presence guiding every act from within you.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and revise the scene by affirming: I am the I AM; God is with me and I govern this moment; I meddle not with God within me. Feel a settled shift in your chest as you embody this truth.
