2 Chronicles 35:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse shows an orderly inner service: singers and gatekeepers fulfill their appointed roles, with Levites supplying support to sustain worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner theater of your consciousness, the singers of Asaph stand in their place by the command of an inner kingly order, and the porters guard the gates while their brethren the Levites prepare for them. This is not a history lesson but a living map of the mind at work: specific roles exist within your awareness, and when you align with the inner command—your I AM, your steadfast awareness—the whole orchestra comes into harmony. Obedience here is fidelity to your present vocation, not sortie after novelty. True unity emerges when every part of you, from the inner gate to the outward expression of worship, supports the others; such harmony becomes your daily reality. When the inner choir feels secure in its place, you are not performing to impress others but fulfilling the law of your being: imagination is the temple, and disciplined feeling makes it real.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and place yourself in your inner sanctuary as the singer or gatekeeper. Declare, I am in my appointed place, and the service of my inner temple endures. Then feel the unity of the whole inner temple as if it is in tune now.
