These verses point to the inner order your consciousness must assume to keep the Passover of remembrance. Removing the burnt offerings is the surrender of worn self-images—old identities that persuade you you are lacking—so that you may give according to the divisions of your inner family: will, memory, emotion, imagination, and discernment. The act of roasting the Passover with fire is your living, directed attention; the fire is not destruction but purification, cleansing the heat of fear so that the holy feast can be consumed in the flame of awareness. The other offerings, cooked and distributed among the people, teach you to share your inner energies with every aspect of self, not hoard them in a single appetite. The priests, Levites, singers, and gatekeepers in their appointed posts remind you that the different faculties—faith, order, joy, and perception—serve in harmony under the law inscribed in you. When all service is prepared in the now, you keep the Passover—the remembered truth of your divine I AM—through a seven-day rhythm of stillness and grateful worship.
