Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Manasseh begins to reign at age twelve and rules Jerusalem for fifty-five years.
Neville's Inner Vision
Manasseh's age at ascendancy is not about biology; it is a symbol of your own birth of consciousness. The twelve-year-old king represents the moment your awareness takes sovereign possession of its throne within you. Jerusalem is your inner city, the seat of heart, memory, and motive. The fifty-five years are not years elapsed in time but the persistence of the inner state you have welcomed as real. When you decide to reign—when you imagine from the I AM the scene you wish to see—you become the Manasseh of your own inner realm. The outer events then follow the immutable law of consciousness: all that happens is a movement of your present assumption into form. Do not seek authority outside; locate it inside, where your I AM governs. By willing and feeling the truth that you are king now, you accustom your mind to act from that regal posture, and your life will echo the dignity of your inner government.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling, 'I am king over my inner Jerusalem now,' and rehearse a scene where a current challenge is already resolved; dwell in that certainty until it feels real.
