Ordered Temple Within
2 Chronicles 31:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Hezekiah reorganizes temple service, assigning each man to his duty in offerings and praise, and sets the king’s portion for daily rites according to the law.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner temple is not built of brick but of states of consciousness. When you read Hezekiah’s ordering of the priests and their offerings, hear it as your own ordering of faculties. The priests and Levites are the aspects of mind—reason, imagination, faith, gratitude—set to minister, to give thanks, and to praise within the gates of your awareness. The burnt offerings and peace offerings symbolize the release of energy into harmony with the one Life, the surrender of self-will to the divine order you already are. The king’s portion is your I AM, the ruling consciousness that assigns its substance to these offerings, morning and evening and through every renewal—new moons, sabbaths, set feasts—according to your inner law. When you align your inner activity with this script, you awaken a daily sanctuary where gratitude is offered and joy is expressed, and the outer world becomes the echo of that inner service. You practice not by trying harder, but by assuming the new arrangement in feeling, and letting imagination do the rest.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and rehearse appointing your inner faculties as the temple’s ministers, with a morning and evening service. Feel the gratitude and praise swell as your I AM assigns its substance to these offerings.
