Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Israel and Judah are urged by the king to turn back to the LORD, with a promise that restoration follows the remnant saved from Assyria. It presents repentance as a turning back to divine loyalty.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the command does not require geography but a shift in consciousness. The call to turn again unto the LORD asks you to turn your attention from outward kings and alarms to the I AM—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel within. In this frame, God is your awareness, and the remnant is the disciplined core of consciousness that remains when fear yields. The remnant escaped from the hands of the Assyrian king becomes your inner peace that survives every siege of circumstance. When you answer yes I will turn, the entire field of experience realigns: thoughts, feelings, and events move to reflect your restored relationship with the divine Self. The external signs—the letters, the posts, even the threat—are merely stimuli; the real turning occurs in the inner state where you acknowledge the I AM and let its reality be felt as present now. Thus restoration follows as you dwell in the conviction that God is with you in every moment.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, imagine receiving the king's command, and then assume the feeling of turning toward the I AM. Stay with that sense until the sense of separation dissolves and restoration feels present here and now.
