2 Chronicles 3:17

Biblical Context

2 Chronicles 3:17 describes two pillars set at the temple's entrance, named Jachin (right) and Boaz (left). The verse uses their names to symbolize inner states that uphold worship and the presence of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your mind is the temple. The two pillars become living states: Jachin, the established awareness that orients you to the now; Boaz, the strength that sustains belief. When you name them, you are not signaling stone but awakening within—calling the I AM into conscious activity. The presence of God appears as your own awakened consciousness, inside and around you, whenever you stand in the acknowledgment 'I AM' and 'I establish'. True worship is your practiced alignment, not a distant rite. Covenant loyalty is the repeated returning to this inner door, choosing to keep faith with the conscious state you have assumed. As you do this, the external world aligns with the inner truth you hold.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine you stand before an inner temple, with Jachin on the right and Boaz on the left. Silently name them and feel the I AM grounding you; repeat, 'I AM awareness established; I AM strength sustained.'
