Temple Within: Inner Sanctification
2 Chronicles 29:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse calls the Levites to purify themselves and cleanse the Lord's house, removing filth from the holy place.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the temple of your mind, the Levites are your active faculties—will, imagination, and perception—standing at the doors of your sanctuary. When they hear the call to sanctify, you begin a transformation not of bricks and mortar but of consciousness. Sanctification is turning your entire inner climate toward the Lord of your fathers—the God within, the I AM. The house of the LORD God of your fathers is the temple of your awareness; to sanctify it is to release stale beliefs, fear, and habitual impurity that stain the holy place. To carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place is a vivid revision: imagine those beliefs as dust and grime being carried away by your inner Levites, and the gates closing on them. When you assume the state of a sanctified mind, you reset the atmosphere of your consciousness, and events reflect that cleansing. Practice becomes a lived experience of the I AM shining in a clear temple, where imagination is the broom and manifestation is its consequence.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume I am the sanctified temple, and imagine sweeping away every impurity from the holy place with the light of I AM; dwell in that feeling for a few minutes.
