Opening the Inner Temple
2 Chronicles 29:3-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In this passage, the temple doors are opened, priests are gathered, and there is a call to sanctify the holy place by removing filth and turning back to the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the inner temple of your consciousness the doors swing open when you assume the state of I AM. I am not seeking change in the world outside but restoring the sanctuary within. When you heed the call to sanctify, you answer as the holy place, the dwelling of the I AM in which God rests. The filthiness is neglected thought—pictures of lack, fear, or separation—carried out of the mind by your determined focus. The lamps are the attention you turn toward truth; when you claim the lamps are lit, inner worship revives and gratitude rises as incense in your awareness. Past trespasses dissolve as you refuse to identify with them; you turn toward the divine habitation and the inner doors are unbarred again. This is not ritual for ritual’s sake but inner consecration that makes outward life flow from a sanctified heart.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the doors of your inner temple are wide open; sanctify yourself by declaring you are the dwelling of the I AM and feel the space light up with a felt sense of worship.
