Biblical Context
Oded the prophet rebukes the Samarian host, saying the Lord's anger toward Judah led to their hand being the victor, and they killed in a rage that reached heaven.
Neville's Inner Vision
Oded's rebuke is a mirror of your inner life. Anger is the true driver of your world, disguising itself as justice when it is merely a state of consciousness in motion. The Lord’s wrath against Judah represents your own mind’s belief in separation and force, which orders events to prove your righteousness. To 'deliver them into your hand' is to recognize you have allowed external circumstances to be shaped by an inner decree; the 'rage that reacheth up to heaven' is the loud, unguarded resentment that cannot rest and presumes to crush others to validate itself. Neville would guide you to reverse this: withdraw attention from the object of anger and assume a new state within. Sit in stillness as the observer of your thoughts and declare the I AM as calm witness. When you dwell in that state, outward conditions realign with inner peace, and justice becomes harmony rather than punishment.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the I AM as your sovereign reality. Revise in thought: 'I created this, and I choose calm' while feeling it real.
