2 Chronicles 26:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Chronicles 26 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes Uzziah warring the Philistines, fortifying cities, and receiving divine help, with his fame spreading as a result.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the I AM within you the Philistines and the walls are not external foes but states of mind you have accepted as real. Uzziah breaking down the wall of Gath Jabneh and Ashdod is your mind releasing long held limitations and false protections. The building of cities about Ashdod represents establishing new patterns of thought and feeling that support your true power. The phrase God helped him indicates that when your inner alignment is clear the I AM lends strength to action. The Arabians and Mehunims you overcome are fears and habits that no longer rule you. The Ammonites giving gifts and the name spreading abroad show that when you stand in inner sovereignty life offers you support, opportunity, and recognition as proof of Providence at work. The kingdom of God is a state of consciousness you enter by assuming the end and feeling its truth now, not by chasing external conditions. Practice merging belief and action until your inner awareness becomes your outward life.
Practice This Now
Act: Close your eyes and imagine you govern an inner city; see the walls fall and new streets of power rise. Feel the I AM strengthening you and dwell in the sense that Providence is rearranging circumstances in your favor.
