2 Chronicles 25:24

Biblical Context

The verse describes a king taking the gold, silver, temple vessels, and hostages, and returning them to Samaria.

Neville's Inner Vision

What you call a 'taking' is the movement of your inner states. The gold and silver are the wealth of your ideas, desires, and feelings; the vessels are the patterns of thought you keep in the house of God—your awareness. The house of God is the sanctuary of I AM within you, where consciousness resides. When you conjure that 'hostages' have been taken to Samaria, you are acknowledging the aspects of yourself you once believed you must surrender to circumstance—fears, limitations, habits. The inner drama is a revision: you are moving all that wealth back into your center, not as loss but as a reordering of power. Returning to Samaria symbolizes bringing dominion to your mind—your outer life now aligns with the abundance already present in your inner sanctuary. The 'plunder' then becomes a natural shedding of lack, a cleansing of beliefs, so that your present moment is governed by the realization that wealth resides in consciousness and is claimed by I AM.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine gathering all the gold, silver, vessels, and hostages from the inner temple and placing them in your heart. Then declare, 'I am the center of wealth; I now reclaim all that belongs to my consciousness.'
