Inner Gatekeepers of God
2 Chronicles 23:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses prescribe a disciplined division of sacred duties: some guard the doors, others stand at the king's house and the foundation gate, while all gather in the LORD's courts to watch and worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold the page as a map of your inner temple. The third of you entering on the sabbath is not a person but a state of consciousness—one portion of mind that steps into stillness and guards the doors of awareness from the clamor of fear or habit. Another third dwells at the king's house, the inner throne where the I AM reigns in quiet power; this is the center of holy intent, the place you choose to let only sacred images pass. A third remains at the gate of foundation, protecting the most intimate beliefs from being unsettled by fleeting appearances. All the people—the rest of your faculties—stand in the courts before the LORD, which is conscious presence. When you attend to this inner order, you practice true worship: you do not seek God elsewhere, you align the entire living order of consciousness to the holy. The LORD’s presence is not a distant visitation but the recognition that God is I AM within you, your own awareness dwelling as temple.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In stillness, assign a third part of your attention to guard the doors, a third at the king's house, and a third at the gate of foundation. Then feel the LORD's presence filling the courts.
