Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
They bring out the king's son, crown him, and anoint him, proclaiming God save the king. Athaliah, hearing the crowd, goes to the house of the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice the drama as a drama of the inner state. The king's son stands for a new state of consciousness arising within you. The crown, the testimony, the anointing, all symbolize the moment when your awareness, your I AM, accepts and legitimizes this state. God save the king is your inner affirmation that this new ruler has divine protection and rightful rule. Athaliah's rush to the LORD's house is the old self, fear and doubt, trying to re-enter the sanctuary as you inaugurate a higher life. Yet the house of the LORD is your inner sanctuary, a place of quiet attention where belief is tested by sensation. The noise of the people praising the king is not conflict but inner momentum: your own faith rippling into experience. When you dwell in this coronation, feel the crown upon your head, imagine the testimony spoken by your own lips, you declare the King within rules now, and the kingdom of God begins to manifest in your affairs. Providence is your interior law; alignment of imagination with this law brings results without struggle.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the state I AM king of this day; feel the crown of confidence upon your head, and hear the inner testimony. Repeat God save the king until this orientation is your present experience.
