Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehoiada strengthens himself, gathers captains and Levites, and the congregation makes a covenant with the king in the house of God; the king's son will reign as the LORD promised for David's line.
Neville's Inner Vision
I am the awareness that calls forth order from within. In this scene, Jehoiada is the moment I decide to take responsibility for my inner kingship; he strengthens himself and gathers the captains of hundreds—the disciplined thoughts and faculties that stand watch over my heart. The Levites, the priests of inner worship, are summoned from every city of my mind, and the elders of Israel are drawn to the temple of my consciousness. When the congregation makes covenant with the king in the house of God, I realize that a decision within me aligns the outer with the inner: the reign of the king's son is not a future event but the present fulfillment of what God has ordained for my line of being. The 'king' within me is the true I AM, the sovereign awareness, and the LORD has spoken concerning the Davidic house—so I accept the crown now, with unwavering faith. Renewal comes not from outside but from the inner act of covenant and the readiness to let the inner king govern my life.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: I am the king within. Crown the inner king now and feel the I AM guiding every thought.
