Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehoram's outward order is overturned by judgment, and the seed of the true king is hidden in the house of God. The tale shows inner fidelity preserving rightful rule until the time of revelation.
Neville's Inner Vision
All these chapters are not about kings and swords alone, but about the inner throne. Jehoram, Jehu, Athaliah, Joash, and Jehoshabeath are stages of your own consciousness. The destruction of Ahaziah by coming to Joram is the movement of a false state toward judgment by the higher I AM. The seed royal, hidden six years in the house of God, is your dormant noble self awaiting the law of God to awaken it. Athaliah, the mother who rages, represents the ego's desire to annihilate your birthright when you begin to feel the truth of you as king in God. Yet Jehoshabeath and Jehoiada guard the seed, not by force, but by loyalty to the covenant within you. In time, the seed is carried forth into light; the temple becomes the seat of rule, and the kingdom cannot remain hidden any longer. Your inner scenario is a drama of Providence: the birthright endures, even when outer appearances scream otherwise. Practice: assume that your true king is already seated in your temple and let that finished state feel real.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the seed sleeping in the House of God, protected by inner priestly authority. Silently declare 'I AM the king,' and feel the divine guard around your inner throne.
