The LORD, the I AM within, does not torment so much as awaken; the \"smite\" is the dislodging of a false assumption, a turning away from the image of self-will to the recognition that health and order arise from alignment with the Truth of being. To heal, one must not fight the symptom with more force, but revise the inner state: claim I AM as the sole governor of your life, and imagine the body responding to that truth.
