2 Chronicles 20:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The LORD commands courage and says the battle is not theirs to fight. It invites a shift from outer fear to inner trust in divine order.
Neville's Inner Vision
Before the great multitude of appearances, the voice comes from within: Be not afraid, for the battle is not yours, but God's. In Neville’s sense, the 'multitude' is the clamor of your own thoughts— fears, past pictures, and the urge to control. You are not the one who must win the fight; you are the awareness through which the entire scene unfolds. The command to hearken invites you to listen to that inner guidance, to align with the truth that the issue is already resolved in the timeless dimension of consciousness. When you assume that the battle rests in divine order, you release the pressure to force outcomes and instead dwell in the feeling of safety, certainty, and right arrangement. Your job is to hold that state here and now, and the outer scene must reflect the inner order. Imagination becomes the instrument by which you decree the solution and feel it real. Persist with the inner conviction until the old picture dissolves into harmony, and the world rearranges itself to echo the I AM’s quiet sovereignty.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, repeat, 'The battle is not mine; it is God's,' until fear fades. Then imagine the scene shifting to calm order, where you move in harmony with the I AM.
