Jehoshaphat's Inner Purification

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehoshaphat strengthens Judah with guards and follows the Lord, turning away from Baal. Because he walks in David's ways and removes the high places, the Lord establishes the kingdom and the heart is lifted to holiness by removing high places.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider that Jehoshaphat's kingdom is not saved by spears but by the alignment of consciousness with the true I AM. He acts as a state of being that has chosen the first ways of David—the memory of God walking with him—as opposed to the Baalim of fear and doubt. When the mind seeks the Lord and obeys His commandments, the outer world follows as a natural fruit, not a proof of personal power. The 'garrisons' and 'fenced cities' are inner guardrails in the mental landscape, habits that protect the appointed awareness from drift. The Lord being with him means the I AM is harmonious with that state, so the heart grows lifted up in God's ways. Purifying the inner temple—removing high places and groves—means releasing attachment to pride, superstition, or competition, and dedicating every thought to covenant loyalty. Thus, the kingdom is established within as it is without, and abundance follows when mind and action are in accord with the divine command.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and deliberately assume, 'I am aligned with the I AM and walking the first ways of David.' Then revise any fear or pride as a purification act, and feel the inner temple becoming clean, guarded, and abundant.
