Inner Trust, Outer Outcomes
2 Chronicles 16:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Asa relies on Syria instead of the LORD, and the Syrian threat escapes his hand. The passage then notes that the LORD's power is shown to those whose heart is perfect toward Him, inviting you to trust Him above appearances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture Asa as the state of consciousness that trusts forms—alliances, armies, clever plans—more than the I AM within. When you lean on Syria, you cut off the inner supply and the external threat seems to govern you, for you have not opened the channel of God’s power. But when the heart is turned toward the LORD, even a vast host becomes manageable, not by force but by alignment. The eyes of the LORD roam to discover the steadfast, the ones whose heart is perfected toward Him; this perfection is not moral perfection alone, but the ongoing confidence that the I AM is the true mover of events. Your deliverance, then, is a function of consciousness, not of circumstance. The Ethiopians and Lubims are not the real problem; the real issue is where you place your trust. Your imagination is the tool by which you revise your stance: declare now that the LORD within is your entire defense, and watch how the inner state reorganizes the outer world.
Practice This Now
Impose the assumption: 'The LORD within is my defense and power.' Revise all reliance on external protection and feel it real by breathing I AM with every inhale, letting your heart rest in perfect trust.
