Inner Peace Inner State

2 Chronicles 15:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Chronicles 15 in context

Scripture Focus

5And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
2 Chronicles 15:5

Biblical Context

The verse describes a time when there is no outward peace for anyone; unrest fills all who go out or come in.

Neville's Inner Vision

Here, the outer condition speaks of a collective unrest that no mortal outward act can correct. But in the true language of God, which I AM, there is nothing but a single consciousness: your inner state. When you interpret no peace as the natural theater of fear and habit, you are not listening to the root. The moment you assume the opposite and dwell within the I AM, peace becomes your habitual atmosphere, not a rare visitor. The vexations you see are simply the thoughts and feelings passing through a mind that believes itself separate from the Source. Turn inward and claim that you are not a victim of conditions but the very governor of experience. Form the habit of imagining tranquility as already present, and let your outward life reflect that inner conviction. Imagination is the lever that moves the visible; peace is not the absence of conflict but the presence of the I AM within you.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly, breathe, and imagine the I AM as a warm, inner light restoring calm. Repeat I AM peace now until the sense of turmoil dissolves and your outward steps reflect inner order.
