Humility As Inner Deliverance
2 Chronicles 12:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Israelite princes and the king humble themselves before the LORD, acknowledging His righteousness; because of that inner shift, God withholds destruction and grants deliverance, though they remain under servitude to learn.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the chronicle speaks of a shift in state, not a change of fate from without. The princes and the king do not summon a new army; they renounce the old self that would wager doom and declare The LORD is righteous. In that utterance they acknowledge the only power that governs them—the I AM that you are. When the inward note is changed, the outer storm called Shishak loses its power to destroy Jerusalem, for the wrath is stayed by recognition. The deliverance granted is not a favor but a correction of consciousness; they are to know service, that they may understand the meaning of true allegiance in the kingdom of God. So the servants are not punishment but education in the attitude of obedience, which is freedom. The inner city of your mind becomes secure when you trust the righteousness of God within you; your world becomes manageable as you align with that mercy. Humility acts as a revision of the self—an inner law that makes space for grace. Trust this inner law, and you reveal the power to be saved by what you already are.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of the I AM in the face of a fear or setback; silently declare The LORD is righteous within, and let humility revise your inner weather. Watch as relief flows into your days.
