Humility Restores the Reign
2 Chronicles 12:12-13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Humility turns away divine wrath and brings stability to Judah. When humbled, Rehoboam's reign continues in Jerusalem for many years.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that the passage treats humility not as a mere act but as the inner posture of the I AM in you. The wrath you fear is the resistance of a mind clinging to a separate self; when that mind yields to the truth that you are the I AM, the inner climate changes and Judah, your ruling center, remains safe and at ease. Rehoboam's humility is the moment your consciousness allows the divine king to sit on the throne of your imagination. The phrase the LORD turned from him is the turning of your own attention away from fear toward faith; things went well in Judah indicates the outer world reflecting that inner peace. Later, to strengthen himself in Jerusalem means you now act from a re-found center, not out of pride, aligning outward reign with inner covenant. The presence of God is constant when you live as the I AM; loyalty to that inner covenant ensures the mind's city stays in order. So the practice is: inwardly assume you are the king of Jerusalem within; your outward life will follow suit.
Practice This Now
Act: Assume you are the I AM reigning now in your inner Jerusalem. Close your eyes, speak, I am the I AM, and I reign in peace, and feel the atmosphere shift as the imagined kingship becomes your lived awareness.
