Scripture Focus

11And when the king entered into the house of the LORD, the guard came and fetched them, and brought them again into the guard chamber.
2 Chronicles 12:11

Biblical Context

The king enters the house of the LORD, and the guards fetch them and bring them back into the guard chamber.

Neville's Inner Vision

Assume you are the king—the I AM—entering the house of the LORD, the sanctuary of your awareness. The guard that fetches them and returns them to the guard chamber is your inner habit-energy—the symbolic shields you have worn to guard worship. When you step into the temple, these guards are drawn to the threshold and placed back in the guard chamber, not eradicated but under your watchful state. This is not conquest but reordering: the external rites can stay, but their grip loosens as the living Presence, the I AM, governs from within. True worship arises as you realize God is the I AM already present in you, and as king you command the imagery of consciousness. The Presence of God is not distant; it exists as your current awareness. Your inner state becomes the temple; by shifting how you relate to the shields, you align every thought and feeling with the divine reality you already are.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume, 'I AM is king in this temple.' See yourself enter the inner house; watch the symbolic guards fetch themselves and return to the guard chamber, while you rest in the felt presence of the I AM.
