Inner Wealth and Godly Contentment

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul warns that those who teach otherwise and chase disputes are to be avoided; true gain is godliness with contentment, for we bring nothing into the world and can carry nothing out. With food and clothing, contentment is enough.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the awakened, you are not chasing external wealth but waking to the one steady state of awareness that you are God’s I AM. When the apostle speaks of wholesome words and the doctrine that is according to godliness, he points to the inner alignment that makes life flow. The notion that gain equals godliness belongs to a mind pretending to be separate from provision; such minds are corrupt in the sense of lacking truth. Yet the command is clear: withdraw thyself from such disputes and turn toward the simple truth that godliness with contentment is great gain. You brought nothing into the world, and you can carry nothing out; therefore your sense of worth is not measured in possessions but in a stable inner state. In practice, rest your attention in the I AM, affirm that your food and raiment are supplied by the ever-present Source, and let abundance follow as a natural expression of that alignment. Envy, strife, and evil surmisings fade when you dwell in this one reality, and true wealth emerges as inner harmony with life.
Practice This Now
Assume now the feeling that godliness with contentment is your great gain. Sit, breathe, and repeat 'Godliness with contentment is my great gain,' then imagine the I AM sustaining you with inner provision in every moment.
