Hidden to Manifest: Inner Good Works

1 Timothy 5:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Timothy 5 in context

Scripture Focus

25Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
1 Timothy 5:25

Biblical Context

Some good works are evident early and cannot be hidden. Others may remain unseen for a season, but inner realities eventually surface in outward actions.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the verse as a statement about inner visibility. The 'good works' are movements of your inner state, the acts of the I AM within you. When you assume a state of being—land of courage, compassion, trust—that assumption becomes the unseen blueprint that asks to be walked in the world. What appears in sight as 'manifest' is not random; it is the natural harvest of the inner soil you have watered with belief. Some fruits ripen quickly; others take time, not because they are denied, but because your inner attention is still being formed toward that reality. Do not chase results, but attend to the feeling of the wish fulfilled. See yourself already performing the good you seek; savor gratitude and integrity in the imagined scene, and let that sensation permeate your daily mood. The mind is a stage; you are the actor and the director. By consistently reviving the inner vision, you disclose to your senses the truth that cannot be hidden, and the world will move to your inward decree at the right hour.

Practice This Now

Choose one good you desire today and, for 1–2 minutes, assume it is already real in you. Feel the gratitude now and let that feeling influence your next actions.
