Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text instructs not to accept an accusation against an elder unless it is witnessed by two or three; it also directs rebuking sin before all so that others may fear the truth.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scriptural salt and light, the elder represents a settled state of mind within you, a pattern of thought that claims authority. The accusation arises not from an external source but from fear and misalignment in consciousness. Do not receive such charge until two or three inner witnesses—conviction, discernment, and alignment with the I AM—test the claim. When sin or misalignment is detected, rebuke it before all within you, not to harm another, but to awaken the whole self to truth. This is inner discipline: reveal the misalignment, let the whole mind witness the correction, and thereby restore order. The effect is to move your outer life into alignment with a renewed inner state. The I AM, your limitless awareness, works through this process to bring integrity, steadiness, and peace across your life by your own conscious revision of belief and feeling.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume the I AM as the judge in your mind. Invite two or three inner witnesses—clarity, justice, and truth—to confirm what is real, then revise your belief until you feel it as already done.
