Scripture Focus

11These things command and teach.
12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
13Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
16Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Neville's Inner Vision

Remember, as I teach, the scripture does not describe a distant king outside you, but the I AM within, the steady witness of your own consciousness. These things command and teach becomes your inner directive: command the states you wish to dwell in, and teach them to your own heart by example. Let none despise your youth meaning let none despise your present state of awareness become an example in speech in your inner conversation in charity in spirit in faith in purity. The call to read exhortation and doctrine is your invitation to study the inner scriptures of your own life, to reflect on truth, and to proclaim it to the one listening the self that hears within. The gift that is in thee is the God given faculty within you; meditate upon these things give thyself wholly to them that thy profit may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine continue in them for in doing this you shall save thyself and them that hear thee. When you act as if you already inhabit the truth you claim the outer world aligns with your settled state and others are drawn to your inner light.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Assume the consciousness of the inner teacher now; spend a few minutes each day imagining you are the example to the believers within in word conduct and faith. Then revise one limiting belief as I AM whole, complete, and capable.
