Inner Ransom and Calling

1 Timothy 2:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Timothy 2 in context

Scripture Focus

6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
1 Timothy 2:6-7

Biblical Context

Christ gave himself as a ransom for all. Paul is ordained to testify this truth, as preacher and apostle to the Gentiles.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine the ransom spoken of is not a distant act but the very state of your consciousness. The phrase He gave himself a ransom for all becomes the awareness that no fear, guilt, or limitation can bind you, for you are the price paid, the release granted by the I AM that you are. To be testified in due time points to a natural unfolding within your inner weather when you choose to dwell in that release. As you dwell there, you awaken as the preacher and the apostle in your own life, authorized to declare freedom to every inner Gentile—the parts of you scattered by doubt, habit, or past error. Your faith becomes verity not by arguing externally but by living from the assumed state; your message is the truth that God within you speaks through you to you. When you align with this, the outer scenes shift to reflect the inward conviction, and the due time arrives as felt completion in the now.

Practice This Now

Assume the inner state of being the ransom for all and feel it as present now. Then declare yourself the preacher to your inner Gentiles, speaking freedom until doubt dissolves.
