Within You The One Mediator

1 Timothy 2:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Timothy 2 in context

Scripture Focus

5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
7Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
1 Timothy 2:5-7

Biblical Context

Paul states there is one God and one mediator, Christ Jesus, who gave himself for all. The passage invites testimony to the unity of God and humanity within your own consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your consciousness there is but the one God, the I AM, and there is a single mediator between God and your life—the inner Christ Jesus, the awakened state of awareness you already are. When you entertain the feeling that you are one with that I AM, you bypass the illusion of separation and discover that the 'ransom' was the release from lack through the realization of wholeness. The apostolic vocation and the preacher's voice arise as you learn to speak and live from the inner truth you already inhabit. The Gentiles in the verse symbolize every part of you outside the old belief that you are separate from God; you now teach them faith and verity by living as the consciousness that loves and knows. The timing 'due time' is the natural moment your inner state becomes the outer condition; become the testimony by dwelling in the inner unity until it radiates outward as form.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the inner Christ-state now. Sit, breathe, and repeat 'I am one with God' until the sense of separation dissolves and the outer world begins to reflect unity.
