Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the apostle’s command to sanctification is a summons to live from your I AM—the divine presence that cannot be touched by outward conditions. The will of God is not distant law but a present state of consciousness you consent to and dwell within. To abstain from fornication and to possess your vessel in sanctification and honor is to stop allowing lower impulses to command your life, and to establish the holy pattern within the very center of your being. Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles—this is the mind’s discipline, choosing alignment with the higher self over transient senses. When you refrain from defrauding your brother, you recognize unity with all within your consciousness and accept responsibility from the one Source. God hath not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness, and the Spirit within bears witness to this truth. Love one another as taught by God becomes your natural atmosphere, increasing as you dwell in the truth that you are already loved and seen by the Living I AM. Quiet study and honest labor express the inward order; your outward conduct then mirrors the sanctified state you inhabit.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the state of sanctification as a constant inner posture. Feel the I AM governing every impulse and guiding your words, thoughts, and actions.
