Walk and Abound: Inner Alignment
1 Thessalonians 4:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Thessalonians 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul invites the brethren to live in a way that pleases God, following what they have learned. By walking faithfully, their inner life should grow and overflow.
Neville's Inner Vision
See this as an inner invitation rather than a rule. The 'brethren' are inner states of consciousness; 'walk' is your daily alignment with the I AM. When you realize you have received the teaching of how to walk, you can revise any sense of lack by assuming you are now walking in perfect harmony with God. To please God is simply to align your inner movement with the divine preference for unity, clarity, and love. Hold this alignment in present awareness, and the sense of striving dissolves into a confident, effortless momentum. The more you dwell in that state, the more your life expands; abundance follows not from external effort but from the inner expansion of consciousness. There is no timetable but a return to the I AM and the joy of knowing you are already walking rightly.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, and assume, 'I am walking in harmony with the I AM.' Feel the ease, then carry that certainty into today's choices, revising any sense of lack as inner alignment with God.
