Scripture Focus

12And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
1 Thessalonians 3:12

Biblical Context

Paul prays that the believers increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all people. This describes inner states of consciousness manifesting as outward care.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the inner listener, 'the Lord' is not a distant power but the I AM within you, awareness itself. When you read that you are to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, understand this as a command to awaken a larger state of consciousness. You are not urged to perform heroic deeds so much as to inhabit a broader feeling: the heart that sees all as kin, the mind that forgives, the spirit that embraces. As you persist in this inner state, the world reflects your inner warmth rather than your seeking. Feel it real now: dwell in the sense that love is the atmosphere you inhabit, and imagine your circle expanding to include every being. The verse implies reciprocity: as you pour love toward others, you secretly receive more love back, and even your so-called enemies become occasions for your growth. Your neighborhood, coworkers, and circle are surfaces upon which the inner abundance is projected. The more you remain in that loving state, the more your life mirrors it: mercy, compassion, unity, and shared joy become natural.

Practice This Now

Tonight I assume the I AM within is making me increase and abound in love toward all. I revise fear into trust and imagine my circle reflecting that love back to me in every encounter.
