Walk Worthy, Enter Glory
1 Thessalonians 2:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Thessalonians 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse asks believers to live in a manner worthy of God, reflecting the calling into His kingdom and glory through daily conduct. It places responsibility on the inner alignment of character with divine purpose.
Neville's Inner Vision
To walk worthy of God is to acknowledge that His call is the speaking of your own I AM into form. The command to walk in a kingdom and glory is a description of your inner state, not a distant rule. The 'walk' is interior—each thought, feeling, and choice becomes a step within the temple of awareness. When you entertain this truth, you stop sizing yourself by outward appearances and begin living as the radiance you already are. Your kingdom is the state of consciousness in which you know yourself as God-loved and God-called; your glory is the natural expression of that awareness in form. The practical key is to assume the feeling of being in that kingdom now, revise any counterfeit self-conception, and dwell in the certainty of your oneness with the I AM. Persist in this inner orientation, and the outer conditions align with your inner identity as you walk worthy.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly and revise your self-image by saying, 'I am in God’s kingdom and glory now,' and feel the reality saturate your being. Let that feeling linger for a few minutes until it colors your day.
