Walking Worthy Within

1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Thessalonians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

11As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
12That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12

Biblical Context

Paul’s exhortation comes as a fatherly charge, urging comfort and steadfastness. The aim is to walk worthy of God, the One who has called you into His kingdom and glory.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this brief reading, the 'we' that exhorted, comforted, and charged becomes your inner I AM speaking to your wavering thoughts. You are not asked to become something new; you are invited to awaken to what you already are—the child of the Father, addressed by the voice that calls you into His kingdom and glory. To walk worthy of God is not labor but alignment: cultivate a state in which every thought, feeling, and choice flows from the awareness of your oneness with the Divine Presence. The kingdom and glory are not distant lands but the inner consciousness where I AM reigns. When fear or unworthiness arise, revise by assuming the truth: I am already there; I am worthy; I am the I AM in motion. Practice: assume this state and feel it real; let your imagination form the scene—gates opening, radiance filling your mind, and you living from that inner throne.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and repeat: I AM walking worthy of God, I AM called into His kingdom and glory; feel it real now. Then imagine stepping through an inner gate into radiant quiet where your daily thoughts rise to that kingdom.
