Read 1 Samuel 2 in context

Scripture Focus

20And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.
1 Samuel 2:20

Biblical Context

Eli blesses Elkanah and Hannah, praying God will grant them offspring as a gift for the vow they gave to the LORD. They then return to their home.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this verse you witness the sacred act not of another world, but of your own awareness. Eli blessing Hannah and Elkanah represents the inner word you speak to yourself when you claim that your desires are already given. The seed of this woman becomes any fruit you yearn for—an idea, a child of destiny, a project, a healing—born in consciousness and given to the Divine to nurture. The loan which is lent to the LORD invites you to release attachment, to trust the I AM to provide in divine order. When you assume this state now, you are planting the seed in your chest where the Spirit resides; providence then guides your steps toward its harvest. The result is not forced but invited, not external but inward. You and your life become a temple wherein blessings are conceived and unfold as natural fruit of your settled faith.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In stillness, place your desired outcome before your I AM, say I loan this to the Divine, and feel it already real, carrying the blessing with you.
