Inner Rock of Holiness
1 Samuel 2:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
There is no holy one like the LORD; there is none beside Him, and no rock like our God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider that the holy LORD is not a distant person but the I AM you are. In this moment, the verse declares the primacy and exclusivity of the inner consciousness: there is no holy other than the awareness that you are. There is none beside Thee, meaning in your inner life there is no rival to your single, unchanging Presence. The 'rock' is not stone somewhere outside, but the stubborn, immovable center of awareness in which all experiences appear. Your God is the living, attentive I AM that does not move with circumstances. When you feel fear, doubt, or longing, you are only forgetting the reality of this one Presence. Return to the conviction that holiness is your natural state, and that your mind rests on the rock of consciousness rather than on changing appearances. By the act of attention and assumption, you demonstrate that nothing else can rival this rock, and your life begins to reflect the unwavering glory that is already within you.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and rest in the sense, 'There is none holy as the LORD within me.' Then revise any sense of separation by affirming, 'I am the rock of my God, the I AM within me, and all life flows from this holy Presence.'
