Inner Judgment: Your King Within

1 Samuel 12:25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Samuel 12 in context

Scripture Focus

25But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.
1 Samuel 12:25

Biblical Context

This verse warns that persistent wickedness brings judgment. The consequence falls on both the people and their king.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the reader, Samuel’s warning is not a threat from without but the law of your inner kingdom. You are the king and the subject; dwell in 'wickedness'—fear, bitterness, or separation—and your inner governor loses alignment with Source, and your life becomes consumed by restless energy. This is not punitive decree from above; it is the natural motion of a belief in separation. If you persist in the notion that you are apart from the I AM, you invite events that mirror that split—disappointments, drained energy, choices that seem to drain you. The cure is simple: assume the state of the king who obeys the law of love and integrity within. Affirm, 'I AM the ruler of my inner realm; my kingdom is established by truth, not fear.' Revision is the act; feel the truth of it now in your chest and breath. Then act from that felt sense, knowing every thought aligned with that royal state shapes your outer experience. When tempted to 'wicked' thinking, remember this passage and return to the kingly posture of I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I am the I AM, the king within; I refuse to dwell in fear or doubt,' then feel that royal state as real in your heart.
