The Prophetic Turning Within
1 Samuel 10:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Saul goes to the hill of God, and a company of prophets meets him. The Spirit of the LORD comes upon him, and he prophesies, being turned into another man; the signs invite him to act, for God is with him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Saul's scene is a study in inner awakening. The hill of God is a state of awareness; the Philistine garrison denotes the noise of fear and limitation. The company of prophets, descending with a psaltery, tabret, pipe, and harp, are the living instruments of imagination and feeling—your faculties ready to be tuned by consciousness. The Spirit of the LORD coming upon thee is not a distant event but the I AM waking to witness itself; thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man, reveals that identity shifts inward before it mirrors outward. These signs are inner confirmations that you are already the king in your own consciousness. Let it be, when these signs come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee. Trust this movement within: you do not compel a change from without, you align with a change that has always existed in the I AM. The outer world then rearranges to reflect your transformed state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In the next moment, close your eyes and picture the hill of awareness; see a company of inner prophets arriving, feel the Spirit upon you, and affirm, I am turned into a new man, then act from that awakened state.
