In this scene, the tribe and the families are inner dispositions, and Saul's hiding among the stuff is the soul's forgetfulness amid the clamor of beliefs. The LORD's inquiry—where is he?—is the I AM asking you to search your own heart. Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff: you have forgotten that your kingship is not earned in outward shows but awakened from within by the power of awareness. When Saul is fetched and stands among the people, it is not merely a crowd that confirms him; it is your consciousness rising, shoulders and upward, taller than your former limits. The true 'king' is the present I AM, the awareness that sees through appearances and crowns itself with certainty. This parable of awakening dissolves concealment when you turn your attention inward and affirm your inherent authority. Your acts of thought, feeling, and belief are the procession; your inner king steps forth as the very substance of reality.
