Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Saul ends his prophetic moment and returns to the high place. The uncle’s question shows the mind chasing outward signs, while the true meeting is with the inner guide Samuel.
Neville's Inner Vision
Saul’s 10:13–14 drama is not a geographic itinerary but an inner one. The high place is the state of consciousness where imagination serves the I AM. Prophesying is your mind in alignment with the divine idea—the inner movement that precedes outward proof. The search for the asses represents the ego’s concern with lack and outward signs; it is dissolved when the mind returns to Samuel, the inner prophet—the voice of inspired direction within. The uncle’s question is the outer habit asking, 'Where did you go?' and your answer reveals how quickly the mind returns to the surface tale rather than admitting the truth: you have followed inner summons into the presence of the Kingdom. The essence: the kingdom does not come by others’ verdicts, but by your realization that the Presence of God is within, and the 'royal' state is your natural I AM. When you finish prophesying, you stand in the high place, aware that you are the one who makes the vision real through inner assurance. The outward scene merely confirms what is already awake within.
Practice This Now
Assume the feeling of the royal Presence now: silently affirm, 'I AM the I AM; the Kingdom is within me.' When external questions arise about your path, revise the scene in your imagination so that you meet your inner Samuel and declare 'It is done' in consciousness.
