Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Samuel anoints Saul and proclaims that the LORD has chosen him to lead over His inheritance. On that day, two men by Rachel's tomb will confirm the calling, signaling the end of Saul's old troubles and the start of his leadership.
Neville's Inner Vision
Saul's anointing is not about a man but a state of awareness you can step into. The vial of oil represents the inflow of the I AM into your mind, convincing you that you are already captain over your true inheritance—the life that belongs to your divine self. The kiss is the seal of acceptance by your higher mind; the question is not 'Will I be chosen?' but 'Do I now acknowledge my true call?' When you depart from the old you—that is, when you leave behind the chasing of appearances (the donkeys) and the fear of scarcity—you enter the border of your own Benjamin—the tribe within you that receives guidance. The two men by Rachel's sepulchre are inner confirmations that the problem is resolved in consciousness before it manifests in form: your sense of lack dissolves, and your father-state (old worries) sorrowfully yields to the certainty of your kingship. Neville teaches: assume the state of leadership, feel it as real now, and let your imagination reorder the stage. The outer world will reflect the constancy of your inner decree, revealing that you are indeed crowned in vision.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, see the oil being poured over your head, and declare, 'I am crowned now, the captain of my life.' Hold the feeling of kingship for a minute or two, revising any lack until it feels real.
