1 Peter 2:4

Biblical Context

The verse presents coming to Christ as a living stone, who is rejected by men yet chosen and precious by God. In plain terms, your true value comes from God's choosing, not human judgment.

Neville's Inner Vision

To come to the living stone is to turn your attention from the noise of men to the one reality of I AM. The stone is not a hollow doctrine but a state of consciousness: you as a clear, present awareness, chosen by God and precious because God, not men, has declared you indispensable. When you feel the disallowing judgments of others, you may revision them by recognizing that all rejection is only a projection of a limited mind. In the inner temple of your being, you are being built into a timeless edifice, each act of faith a cornerstone set by the divine. Remember: Christ is the living stone, and you are invited to lay your entire sense of self upon that Stone, thereby aligning with grace and favor. The covenant loyalty is simply the unwavering assumption that you are already loved and included in God’s design. Practice living from that awareness, and the external conditions shift to fit the inward conviction.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine standing before a temple built of living stones; feel the I AM as the cornerstone supporting you; declare, 'I am chosen of God, precious' and dwell in that truth until it feels real.
